Mike Pence Gave a White Man a Shoutout for Black History Month

After Donald Trump’s Black History Month speech and proving to the world that he knows nothing about Frederick Douglass, you’d think his vice president, Mike Pence, would keep his Black History Month comments simple or not say anything at all. But, of course, neither of those happened.

Pence made sure his tweet reminded people that white savior Abraham Lincoln ended slavery. Because there’s nothing like a gentle slavery reminder for Black History Month.

It didn’t take long for someone to properly school Pence on slavery and history:
