The choir at Desert Canyon Middle School in Scottsdale, Ariz., took a break from its usual performance pieces and decided to go just a little mainstream with its most recent performance. And, needless to say, it left people a little confused but smiling.

With over 56,000 retweets, Julia Salmons’ tweet definitely caught the attention of a lot of people, including Scottsdale local reporter Liz Kotalik of Fox 10. Kotalik took a trip to the middle school and received a special performance of Silentó’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” from the choir.
