Michelle Obama may always be a fun and down-to-earth guest to have on your show, but the first lady is also one who never forgets her message of healthy eating and daily exercise.
In an "Ew!" sketch with Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and entertainer Will Ferrell, the first lady, while talking about the Olympics and other fun things, took the time to put in a plug for healthy lifestyle habits that she champions in her Let's Move campaign.
"You’re pretty strong, Michelle. You could totally be in the Olympics," Fallon, dressed as a teenage girl called Sara, told the first lady.
"I do try to exercise every day," Obama responded.
"Really?" Ferrell, dressed up as another teen girl, Stacy, chimed in. "Because I think exercise is ew!"
"Exercise is not ew!" Obama said, jokingly turning up her face, before getting serious. "You just have to find an activity that’s right for you. For example, I like to dance, play tennis, even do some push-ups."
Later, when discussing whether or not potato chips were "ew," the first lady pointed to kale chips as a healthy alternative, saying they were chock-full of "omega 3 fatty acids."
