The next time you want to pout and act ungrateful over something trifling, like your server being too slow with the free breadsticks or your roommate leaving her socks on the dang couch again, please remember that you were placed on this earth at the exact same time as one Michael B. Jordan, and that fact alone is worthy of rejoicing.

OK, now that our moods have picked up a little bit, let’s turn our attention to the next great Jordan thirst watch, HBO’s upcoming Fahrenheit 451.

The film is based on Ray Bradbury’s 1953 dystopian novel, and HBO just dropped the teaser trailer for its adaptation Monday. Given the amount of heat the trailer packs, you’re likely to be feeling at least 75 percent more parched once it’s done.

The world that Bradbury imagines, and that we can see replicated in the trailer, is one where books have been outlawed and “firemen” are responsible for eradicating them through (you guessed it) fire.

Jordan stars in the film as fireman Guy Montag, who starts having doubts about his job and the order in which he lives. His mentor-turned-nemesis is played by the perennially evil Michael Shannon. Spider-Man: Homecoming’s Laura Harrier, Sofia Boutella and Lilly Singh also star.
