Michael B. Jordan is out here putting in work and pitching movies to TV studios. Jordan pitched the idea of a remake of The Thomas Crown Affair to MGM, and now it’s happening.
The original movie was released in 1968 and starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. A remake was made in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo in the lead roles. The movie followed Crown, a wealthy businessman with a side gig as an art thief, as he falls in love with the insurance investigator assigned to track him down.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Michael B. Jordan remake is currently in the early stages, and neither a director nor a writer has been attached to it yet. But it’ll be interesting to see who Jordan’s leading lady will be in the movie.
