Over the weekend, Creed proved to be a box office hit, and its star is already saying yes to a sequel that Warner Brothers hasnโt mentioned yet.

Michael B. Jordan, who plays Apollo Creedโs son, Adonis, said heโs definitely down for a sequel, and with the movie raking in over $40 million, a sequel definitely seems like a good idea.
โA character so rich as this, and the world heโs in, I want to see what happens to him next and what he does,โ Jordan told the Associated Press. โEspecially the way it ends off, itโs pretty cool. I think with success and time and circumstances, it would be exciting to come back and work with [co-stars] Sly [Stallone] and Tessa [Thompson] again.โ
Creed, which was directed and written by Fruitvale Stationโs Ryan Coogler, is probably one of the best boxing movies of the last couple of years. And if it doesnโt pick up some awards, Iโll be shocked.
