On Wednesday at 8 p.m. EDT, join us for our live “Young, Black and Viral” Google Hangout, where we’ll be chatting with three of the Internet’s most influential young black creators. We’ll be joined by the following folks:

Xavier D’Leau, executive producer of the award-winning Web series Quarter Century and host of the top-charting podcast 2 Guys and a Girl;

Kazeem Famuyide, editor-in-chief of the culture site Stashed; and

Maya Francis, a journalist and contributor to Esquire, Ebony, xoJane and more.

The three will talk about crafting their brands, building social followings and using their influence to amplify new voices for their generation. It's the kickoff to our “Young, Black and Viral” weekend, when we’ll highlight African-American millennials, their unique perspectives and the issues that matter most to them. The Root’s social media editor, Terron Moore, will host.

RSVP to the Google Hangout here.
