As fans continue to theorize over whether or not “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” star Martin Lawrence is in good health or not, the comedian and actor is finally putting the whispers to rest.
As we reported earlier this week, Lawrences’s appearance at the film’s Los Angeles premiere sparked concern from fans who questioned if the “Life” star is dealing with underlying health issues; a moment in which his costar Will Smith leads him by the hand to one side of the top of the Megabus they rode in on lead some online to believe there was something going on.
But in a new interview with Hot 97's Ebro in the Morning, the beloved star revealed that there is in fact nothing going on and that he’s in good health. Explaining his demeanor in the video, Lawrence told host Ebro Darden: “I was like, oh, this is rock concert stuff. What the hell is going on? I was like, for a movie?”
When Darden pressed him further about the status of his health, Lawrence said:
“I’m fine. I’m in God’s hands. I’m blessed, you know? I’m glad to be waking up every day. I’m all good. No need for people to be concerned.”
Before wrapping, Lawrence emphasized, “I’m healthy as hell. Stop the rumors!”
Well, you heard him folks! Whether or not we personally believe him doesn’t matter -- if Marty-Mar says it’s all good in the hood, it’s only fair that we take him at his word.
