Fresh from our "Are you still talking?" file, former LAPD Detective Mark Fuhrman appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show today to discuss the O.J. Simpson case 15 years after the controversial verdict. When asked what he would say to or about the folks with whom he worked on the case, Fuhrman had a few choice words for his former colleagues. In reference to Philip Vannatter, lead detective on the O.J. case, Fuhrman stated,"He was a clown in a detective suit. Everything he touched turned to lead." What about prosecuting attorney Chris Darden? "Stop being angry. You participated in the failure. You did nothing creative. You did nothing to stop this," said Fuhrman. Wow, does someone have an ax to grind? Perhaps being a best-selling author isn't enough for the detective once exposed for lying under oath? Perhaps Fuhrman should move on, because we certainly have.
