Disney's first animated film with a Polynesian character is set to hit theaters later this year, but one part of Moana's merchandising has some people offended. Moana, which stars Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson as the demigod Maui, has a questionable Halloween costume.
The costume features tribal tattoos, brown skin and fake muscles, and there's also an optional wig. And people on social media aren't pleased at all.

It's great that Disney has a film with a Polynesian princess, but this costume? Was there a way to tastefully depict the Rock's character without the brown skin?
