Richard “Kwasi” Springer, 28, is accused of punching a 69-year-old woman in New York City on Saturday morning, knocking her unconscious and sending her to the hospital shortly afterward with a serious injury, the New York Daily News reports.
Springer reportedly got into an argument with an employee of the Sutphin King Deli in the Jamaica section of the city's Queens borough around 8:10 a.m. According to the Daily News, Eve Gentillon, the victim, yelled at Springer to stop fighting when she saw the argument. That's when Springer allegedly stormed out of the store and punched her, leaving her knocked out on the sidewalk.
Police are currently looking for Springer, who is described as a black man, 5 feet 11 and 175 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair in cornrows. He also has a tattoo reading "Emily" on his right arm and was last seen wearing blue jeans, black boots and a black sweatshirt.
