Man Bites Off Man’s Finger at Beyoncé-Jay Z Concert

A California segment of Beyoncé and Jay Z's tour took a bit(e) of a turn after a fan who had inappropriately touched a woman bit off part of her boyfriend's finger after he came to her aid, police told the Pasadena Star-News.

According to the Star-News, Roberto Alcaraz-Garnica of San Diego allegedly groped a woman during the On the Run tour performance Saturday at the Rose Bowl. When her boyfriend came to defend her, a scuffle ensued, and in the melee, Alcaraz-Garnica reportedly bit off part of the man's finger. 

Authorities told the newspaper that they arrested the 25-year-old Alcaraz-Garnica around 10 p.m. and he was charged with suspicion of sexual battery and mayhem. He was being held on a $100,000 bond.

"The suspect sexually assaulted the female victim," Pasadena police Lt. John Luna told the Star-News. "During the altercation, the suspect bit the victim, causing serious injury to his finger."

The woman is said to be in her 20s, and the Star-News notes that the couple was otherwise not identified. According to the newspaper, Alcaraz-Garnica was one of 11 people arrested at the concert, the first of a scheduled two-night performance. Two people were arrested for scalping tickets, and eight were arrested for public drunkenness, according to the Star-News.
