Lupita Nyong’o is set to become the new face of Lancôme, beginning in September, according to USA Today.
Nyong’o, who this year won an Oscar for her role in 12 Years a Slave, will join the ranks of Kate Winslet and Julia Roberts as a spokeswoman for the French cosmetics line, the article says.
"I am truly honored to join the Maison Lancôme, a brand with such a prestigious history that I have always loved. I am particularly proud to represent its unique vision for women and the idea that beauty should not be dictated, but should instead be an expression of a woman's freedom to be herself," Nyong'o said in a statement released by the beauty house.
The actress has also appeared in Miu Miu's spring 2014 campaign and sat front row at the brand's recent show.
The petite fashion plate kept audiences agog with her sharp sense of style, which included selections from Chanel and Gucci, and a red Ralph Lauren cape dress.
She'll make her first post-Oscars appearance back in Hollywood at the April 12 GLAAD Media Awards, according to E!.
