Lupe Fiasco addressed white supremacy head-on with three posts on Instagram. The Chicago rapper posted a lengthy message in direct response to the massacre at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., and Dylann Roof’s manifesto.
In a manifesto discovered online, Roof stated that he wanted to start a race war, but Lupe’s posts asked for people to be “supreme as a spectrum of colors in collaboration.”
In just three simple posts, Lupe broke it down, but of course there will be those who choose not to pay attention.
