One of the best things about television in the ’90s was the sitcom Living Single. The series, which starred Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, Erika Alexander, Kim Fields, T.C. Carson and John Henton, made Fox’s Thursday-night lineup one of the most popular. It consisted of Martin, Living Single and New York Undercover, which were the highest-rated series among black households for the 1996-97 season.
For those starved for more variety when it comes to positive images of black women, two of the stars from Living Single have joined forces for a new Web series. Kim Coles and Erika Alexander’s new show, The BFF Chronicles, launches Wednesday on YouTube. From the preview clip, you can tell that the two women will definitely bring the comedic A game for which they’re known.
Follow the series’ Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook accounts to stay up-to-date on upcoming episodes, which will air every Wednesday at 9 a.m. PST/12 p.m. EST.
