Kanye West has stamped his name as a fashion icon, but after a recent appearance on the Grammy’s red carpet alongside his wife, Bianca Censori, all eyes are on the married couple— and not in a good way. Since the couple’s latest fashion stunt, people have been trying to figure out how we even got here, and now, one lip reader is spilling the tea.
Many were surprised to even see the “Donda” rapper at the Grammy’s in the first place, since he hadn’t attended the award show since 2015. But clearly, West had plans to make a comeback that’ll never be forgotten... no matter how hard anyone tries.
Ye and Censori pulled up to the carpet in matching black outfits, with Kanye wearing a simple black shirt and pants and his wife wearing a luxurious black coat. While posing for pics on the carpet, the married couple exchanged a few words between themselves, and a lip reader seems to have insight on exactly what Kanye said to his wife before the jaw-dropping moment.
Nicola Hickling, the founder and lead analyst at LipReader, told Dailymail.com Kanye allegedly commanded his wife saying, “You’re making a scene now.” After which, Censori appears to nod her head.
“Make a scene,” Ye allegedly continued. “I’ll say it’ll make so much sense,” according to the expert. Censori nodded her head again, and that’s when Hickling claims Ye told her “Drop it behind you and then turn,” referring to Censori’s fur coat.
The rapper then assured his wife saying “I got you,” according to the expert. Then, she allegedly responded saying, “Alright let’s go,” before turning her back to the press and revealing her completely see through dress.
Online, people seem to be concerned for Bianca’s well being. In response to the lip reader’s interpretation, TikTok user @robnjoy_itsmyopinion theorized that Bianca’s “being controlled in plain sight and nobody close is saving her.” Another user, @elle.rocket, agreed saying “She looks so traumatised, thousand yard stare. Why isn’t he [Kanye] being arrested???”
We all know how Kanye loves a controversial moment. And @nicolepickford2 noted this saying, “he got more attention than anyone and they left straight after the red carpet. He will see that as mission done.”
According to Page Six, the controversial stunt may have been an attempt to recreate the cover of Kanye’s “Vultures 1” album, where Censori is seen in thigh-high boots and a skimpy piece of fabric covering her behind. Others have theorized Censori’s nude Grammy look could be promotion for Ye’s upcoming album, “Bully.”
After the reveal, rumors began spreading that the couple was removed from the ceremony, but according to PEOPLE, Kanye and Censori hopped in their car right after appearing on the red carpet and left.
