Radio host Rush Limbaugh is at it again — this time chastising former Secretary of State Colin Powell for his support of President Obama in the 2008 presidential election, again. Powell famously crossed party lines to support then-Sen. Barack Obama in his bid to become president of the United States. Limbaugh blasted Powell for crossing party lines and is reviving the feud with recent comments about Powell and the upcoming election.

Powell said over the weekend that he wasn't sure if he would vote for President Obama again. Limbaugh responded that Powell will vote for President Obama because "melanin is thicker than water."

We find that interesting, since many white Republicans crossed party lines to vote for President Obama, too, in 2008. Has he forgotten the Obamicans? We should remind him about the public support that then-Sen. Obama received from William Bennett, Peggy Noonan and Rich Lowry. How does he account for high-profile Republicans backing Obama's presidential pursuits? Is it an acknowledgment of the melanin coursing through their veins, too?
