Lil Wayne has referred to his fair share of women as bitches and whores in his music, but the rapper wasn't too pleased when Nightline's Linsey Davis asked if he'd be offended if someone referred to his own daughter that way. And that's why Wayne says he went off about Black Lives Matter.
In an interview with TMZ, the rapper apologized for his comments and said that he was angry over the question Davis asked.
"When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a bitch and a ho, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses," Wayne said. "Apologies to anyone who was offended."
I'm not sure why he would get upset at the question to begin with. It's an honest question when it comes to critiquing rap music. I'm pretty sure he wasn't asked the same question in his previous interviews when he said that racism didn't exist. So what was his excuse then?
