A few weeks ago the most infamous episode of MTV’s Catfish aired involving a delusional rapper by the name of Kidd Cole, whose real name is Jerez Coleman. Coleman, who resides in the Washington, D.C., area, bilked two people out of thousands of dollars. Coleman purported himself to be a rapper who was signed to Kanye West’s record label.  Coleman not only had one woman thinking she was getting a job with him and the record label, but also managed to have her pay for his security detail out of her own pockets. Another victim provided Coleman with chauffeured car service that he never paid for.

During a pinnacle Catfish moment, host Nev Schulman got so fed up with Coleman and his lies that he threw Coleman’s phone into the D.C. watershed. Coleman eventually explained that he lied to people to brush off his haters. In other words, Coleman is the epitome of delusional. Who are these haters? We have no idea.

In a twist of irony, R&B Divas star, Lil’ Mo took to Instagram to announce that she used to be married to Coleman’s father, Gus Stone, and that he’s her daughters Heaven and God’Iss Love’s half-brother.

Her caption read:

Big shoutout to MY "estranged" SON!! @colepushaz! i cannot sit here and LOL and point fingers at a young man that has the SAME FATHER as my daughters heaven and Godiss love. i saw the MTV special "Catfish" and my heart was saddened. i laughed at first because i was like "heaven ya brother on TV". BUT the fact is, i literally saw this YOUNG MAN raise HIMSELF!! his grandmother helped. but he wasn't her responsibility. numerous payments was sent to the child support account. that I paid out of my pocket. he was raised without a "YOU know what" !! in these streets, get it how you LIVE IT!! he is NOT a bad guy. he needs guidance. i truly hope he makes his way in the music industry. which is way more cruel than the real world. ps iLove you Jerez!! never give up ok!! love always, MOm 😘 #sorryIhadtoBEhumanTHISonce #backtoBEINGanALIEN

In an interview with TheJasmineBrand.com, she divulged that she actually helped Stone pay child support for his son.

“Kidd Cole never lived with us. He lived seven minutes away from us in Anne Arundel County in Maryland,” she explained. “I saw him riding a bike in a neighborhood where my parents and I owned a home. I told my ex to stop the car, I saw a boy that looked like Jerez [Coleman]. He pulled up to the car startled, and said, ‘Hi, daddy.’”

She continued, “My heart dropped. As we had NO contact. Just child support payments, that I made out of my personal account. I never saw him again after that until I found him on [Instagram].”

Lil’ Mo explained that she was upset to know he was swindling people he met online.

“I was very surprised. I had heard he was producing and working with Jaden Smith,” Lil Mo recalled. “When I asked his father was it true, he replied that he was crazy. I said that he got it honest.”

After Coleman’s episode aired, it was found out he was still up to his old tricks. A video surfaced showing him being interviewed in Texas, but this time he had a British accent. There’s no telling who Cole is currently catifishing.
