While our heads were turned looking to see what designer-of-the-moment Virgil Abloh would produce for our favorite low-priced, high-style housewares store, Ikea, another bound-to-be-coveted collaboration was in the works: Solange Knowles’ Saint Heron “cultural hub” also has a collab on deck with the retailer, and our bodies—and homes—are ready.
When we first heard of this blessed partnership, our first thought was of the braided halo that Solange wore to this year’s Met Gala, imagining it translated into chandeliers, place mats and wall art. Maybe Solange has the same idea, since this is the cryptic tweet Saint Heron posted about the upcoming collection “exploring architectural and design objects with multifunctional use”:
No word yet on when we can expect to bring Saint Heron’s collection home for a seat at the table, but we honestly can’t wait to see what our favorite avant-garde-loving chanteuse has in store (literally) for us.
