Vice President Joe Biden, like much of America, has had enough of Donald Trump. During a stump speech last week, Biden said, forget debating the vile Trump; he wished he could beat his ass.
"The press always ask me, 'Don't I wish I were debating him?' No, I wish we were in high school—I could take him behind the gym. That's what I wish," Biden said, CNN reports.
Biden realized Monday that those comments weren't very VP-ish, so he tried to backtrack a bit, noting that he would only take the Donald "behind the gym" if he were still in high school. Biden added that the comment had gotten him "in trouble."
But that didn't stop Trump from spouting that he'd love to fight Biden.
"I'd love that. I'd love that. Mr. Tough Guy. You know, he's Mr. Tough Guy. You know when he's Mr. Tough Guy? When he's standing behind a microphone by himself," Trump said.
"Some things in life you could really love doing," Trump added.
Biden has been one of Trump's most vocal critics since footage emerged of Trump bragging about kissing women and grabbing them by their privates. Biden called Trump's behavior "the textbook definition of sexual assault."
