LeBron James' social media showboating may have gotten some of Miami-Dade's finest in trouble.
The NBA superstar posted video of police officers in Miami escorting him and his entourage to a Justin Timberlake-Jay Z concert at Sun Life Stadium. He tweeted the video with the caption: "They treat us so well! We needed it cause traffic was nuts!"
But apparently the escort was not scheduled via the proper channels within the Miami-Dade Police Department, and the officers involved are now being investigated.
Here's hoping that someday soon, people will realize that other people can see the things they post on their social media networks and will take a few extra precautions in determining what they put out there for the world to see.
