You may recognize Lakatriona Brunson as Bernice from the hit truTV series South Beach Tow. Brunson is no-holds-barred on the reality-TV series, and she'll probably bring the same toughness to her new position.

According to the Miami Herald, Brunson is the first woman to be named head football coach at a Florida high school. Brunson will be leading the Miami Jackson High School team, along with her assistant coach, Luther Campbell, formerly of 2 Live Crew.

"We're not here to talk about music or reality TV," Brunson said at a news conference. "We're here to talk about football only."

Brunson isn't a newbie when it comes to football. She started out as a physical education teacher at the school, as well as a flag football coach, and played for the Miami Fury, a woman's football team, 10 years ago. Her résumé also includes being a standout track and basketball athlete as a college student. Brunson played basketball while earning her degree at Tennesse State.

Campbell also has experience coaching football as the defensive coordinator at Miami Central, Miami Northwestern and, most recently, Miami Norland.

"A lot of people that probably applied for this position, and look who's here," Brunson said. "I'm ready for whatever comes my way. I'm ready to fight, ready to get these guys prepared and ready to win."

Congrats to Brunson and Campbell!
