Kirk Franklin had social media in an uproar Saturday after he took on Twitter trolls who took issue with his anti-Muslim-ban tweets.

“I am a Christian who would rather sit at the table with a Muslim brother than ban him from a home that wasn’t originally mine,” Franklin tweeted.
Of course, it didn’t take the trolls too long to respond to Franklin’s tweet, and one troll in particular bit off a little more than he could chew:
Well, that sounded like a thinly veiled threat, and Franklin wasn’t having it:
In other words, Franklin basically said, “I will bust a cap in your ass in the name of Jesus.”
On Sunday, Franklin put all jokes (and threats) aside to express his stance on the Muslim ban:
