Funny man Kevin Hart was arrested early Sunday morning in Los Angeles on suspicion of drunken driving. Hours later, he made light of the situation on Twitter.

On some real shit….drinking & driving is not a game or a laughing matter. People have lost lives because of stupid shit this!
This is a wake up call for me, I have to be smarter & last night I wasn't….everything happens for a reason….

California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs says Hart appeared intoxicated when he was pulled over before dawn Sunday on Highway 101 in Los Angeles.
Hart failed a field sobriety test and was booked for misdemeanor DUI. He was released Sunday afternoon after payment of a $5,000 bond.
Jacobs says the Mercedes was being driven erratically at over 90 mph and nearly slammed into a gas tanker.
