DJ Mustard has some choice words about Drake in his latest interview. The producer behind Kendrick Lamar’s smash hit (and Drake diss record) “Not Like Us” sat down with The Los Angeles Times, opening up about his career and of course, his current song of the summer with Lamar.

Unless you’ve lived under a rock, “Not Like Us” is everywhere. Lamar’s hit single came after a flurry of songs in his back-and-forth with Drake earlier this year, but it is by far his most successful. The penultimate blow in the rap battle, the song made it to No. 1 on the Hot 100 and has dominated radio and streaming charts all summer.

When asked if he would ever produce a song for Drake in the interview, Mustard simply said to the Times, “I don’t think I want to make a song with that dude.” He added, “He’s a strange guy.”

As for working with Lamar, however, Mustard calls him, “a genius.” He explains, “He does the unthinkable every time. And on a human level — just as a normal person — I like his style.” He went on to talk about how even after all of this success, Lamar has not taken to social media to boast about his wins like many of his peers and contemporaries.

“His whole mystique gives me the same vibes as Prince,” he continued. “Even now [after the success of ‘Not Like Us’], the guy has not posted anything. I told him, ‘I don’t know how you do that shit. Me, I’d be like, “Yeah, I’m No. 1!”’

Of course, the subject of the Grammys came up, and if the producer has let himself think ahead about the biggest night and music (and if their hit record may take home some major awards). He said, “Maaannn ... and think about if we win. That’s a big night. Big win for the Coast.”
