In the words of my 85-year-old grandmother, "F—k what you heard" from the likes of Rodney Harrison and others who may not think Colin Kaepernick is black because the woman who gave birth to him is white.

Some may say that Kaepernick has evolved over the years, but considering that he did pledge Kappa Alpha Psi in college, maybe some people just wanted to overlook his blackness? Aside from Harrison, other black people are praising Kaepernick and his stance and pro-blackness, and on the heels of Kaepernick’s display of his proud Afro during Thursday night's San Francisco 49ers postgame press conference, #KapSoBlack is now a meme and trending topic on Twitter:
