Over the weekend, Kanye West performed on Saturday Night Live, but it’s what happened before his performance that’s getting a lot of attention. Apparently, West had a “meltdown” before his performance after noticing set changes were made. His rant was leaked online Wednesday, and his team is already firing back.

The New York Post’s Page Six reported that West “threatened to walk off,” according to an unnamed source, and the news site posted the leaked audio.

In the audio, West can be heard yelling, “Look at that [s—t]; they took my [f—king] stage off SNL without asking me. I am bummed.” He then went on to call Taylor Swift fake and compared himself to Pablo Escobar, Pablo Picasso and the Apostle Paul.

That’s a lot of Pauls.

“He did not yell at SNL staff. The audio was secretly recorded while he was venting his frustration in a private moment with his team,” a rep for West stated. The rep also said that the stage was “taken apart … without anyone’s approval. He had spent an entire day rehearsing and [put] a lot of hard work into the performance. Dramatic set changes were made 30 minutes before going live. It should be understandable why he was upset after being completely blindsided.”

One has to wonder who actually leaked the audio. Over the last couple of days, certain things have been leaked to the media about West, including the fact that his wife doesn’t like him being on Twitter. Something tells me a certain mother-in-law is behind these leaks.
