During a Saturday-night performance in Sacramento, Calif., rapper-producer Kanye West not only went off on a tirade against Jay Z and Beyoncé and arrived to the show late, but also ended his set after three songs.

Ye started pouring tea during the show, saying that Yoncé said she would only perform if she won Video of the Year at the MTV Video Music Awards, a category he was always nominated in (and the same awards show where he infamously interrupted Taylor Swift in 2009).

He also called out his former Watch the Throne collaborator Jay Z and said that Jay should speak to him “like a man.” Perhaps he thought better of that, because he then asked the Brooklyn MC not to send killers after him:

Beyoncé, I was hurt because I heard you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over [Drake’s] ‘Hotline Bling.’ In my opinion—now, don’t go dissing Beyoncé, she’s great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are—just to win.

I’ve been sent here to give y’all my truth, even at the risk of my own life. At the risk of my own success. I’ll give y’all the truth. Jay Z, call me, bro, you still ain’t called me. … Jay Z, I know you got killas. Please don’t send them at my head. Talk to me like a man.

Ye must have gotten himself too worked up because he apparently left the stage after his rant. He had performed only three songs. According to a Twitter user, the crowd allegedly screamed, “F—k you, Kanye!”

All of this happened just days after West caught flak for saying that he would have voted for Donald Trump, and that he will run against Trump in 2020.

Ye might need to sit down for a few … years.
