Another day, another Kanye West rant. Ye had a lot to say in this particular one as he just released his much-anticipated collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, “Vultures Pt. 1,” and returned from a busy Super Bowl weekend in Las Vegas.

In his semi-weekly run-in with TMZ, the Chicago rapper explained why his latest album is enjoying success despite its messy release and questionable content.

Initially sharing that he was nearly two months from going bankrupt, Ye said that “we survived from the cancellation” to enjoy immense success with “Vultures.”

If you’re unaware, his latest album had been rumored for nearly four months. Unsurprisingly, the project went through many rollout issues which is why the album is coming out months after it was announced.

Even when the album was available on major streaming platforms Friday, it was taken off for a short while only to come back minutes later. It was just an overall messy and unorganized strategy. But that’s what Kanye West does.

Furthermore in his rant to TMZ, Ye explained why he has yet to be canceled by his fans, saying, “It wasn’t about the controversy. It was about the ability to say how you felt out loud.”

As the Chicago rapper continued to rant about a plethora of other topics including “making Twix bigger to try and make us fat,” he addressed his questionable antisemitic comments on the album, saying, “Black people cannot be antiemetic we are Jew… For all the kids that love me, for all the Jewish kids that love me, I’m sorry if y’all had to hear a grown-up conversation with us screaming at each other. We got to a point where something needed to be said.”
