Is Kanye West inevitable? Despite all the controversy, outlandish statements and antisemitic rhetoric, the Chicago rapper has yet another hit single.

His single “Carnival” from his latest album “Vultures 1" with Ty Dolla $ign hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Monday, earning Ye his fifth No. 1 single in his two-decade career.

West went to social media to celebrate, thanking the artists that helped create the track including Rich the Kid, Ty Dolla $ign, and Playboi Carti. But in the same breath, the Chicago artist passed out a couple of “f**k yous” to all of his enemies including Adidas, Drake, and “every Christian.”

In a lengthy Instagram post shared on Monday, Ye wrote, “Rich Ty Carti and the supporters that stood by us through everything This number #1 is for you it’s for the people who won’t be manipulated by the system and fuck adidas and everybody who works there or with them Anyone who goes to school with anyone who’s parents work at adidas Just know they tried to destroy me and here we are with the number 1 song in the world Like the fake dude I saw in the lobby at the Ritz that works at Goat.”

“Carnival” in particular has been popular on social media, used by millions of creators daily on Instagram and TikTok. It doesn’t matter how hard he tries to get himself “canceled,” Ye still has that effect on music, and as long as people enjoy his music, he’ll continue to be a force that has to be reckoned with in the industry.
