It seems as though the new thing to joke about is Ebola, and one Harlem rapper has taken it to a whole new level.

Cam'ron, who rose to fame not only because of his rapping but also because of his questionable attire, posted his new product, which he claims is intended to protect people from Ebola, on Instagram: "Ebola is no joking matter.. So if u have to be safe.. Be fashionable," wrote the rapper.

"Wrap it up and protect yourself from Ebola just like Killa Cam!" the description noted. "Provides complete protection while remaining light and comfortable. … A full-width nosepiece guarantees proper fit. Latex-free ear loops."

All for a mere $19.99.

In the words of Fred Sanford, "You big dummy!" Ebola is not airborne, and that measly mask won't protect you from anything but the flu during a flight. If that. Ebola, as many should know by now—and I'm not sure why Cam'ron doesn't—is spread through direct contact with blood and other bodily fluids, infected animals and contaminated objects. This is not the movie Outbreak. Dustin Hoffman is not going to pop up and say, "It's airborne."

Maybe Cam'ron should stick to what he knows: pink fur.
