WNBA player Brittney Griner’s request to have her marriage to Glory Johnson annulled was denied by an Arizona judge. Griner filed for an annulment in June, just 28 days after her marriage to Johnson, and one day after Johnson announced she was pregnant.

According to TMZ, Griner alleges that Johnson cheated on her by texting with an ex-boyfriend. Johnson says those accusations are completely false.

“I am thankful the annulment was rejected because an act of marriage did occur. Together we made life-changing decisions which impacted our lives collectively, and we both should be held responsible for those decisions,” Johnson told TMZ.

In a June interview with ESPN, Griner said she felt pressured to marry Johnson.

“I shouldn’t have went through with it,” she said. “You know, sometimes you feel pressured into things, and I went along with it. And I know I shouldn’t have. It was a huge mistake. I just knew it was a mistake.”

On Saturday, Johnson posted on Instagram her feelings about the annulment.

“Lying is done with words and also with silence,” Johnson wrote. “It’s not right to proclaim to The World that someone cheated on you, without having Legitimate Proof. I’m not that type of Person, never have been, never will be. #TrustIssues #SoThankful #Blessed #HonestyIsThePolicy.”
