It's always good when you turn on late-night television and Jon Stewart is back in the chair. On Thursday night, Stephen Colbert handed over his Late Show seat to Stewart, and what occurred can only be described as Stewart eviscerating Republicans and Fox News' Sean Hannity.

Stewart pointed out that Hannity, who has called President Barack Obama everything from inexperienced to narcissistic, doesn't seem to realize that it is Donald Trump who has those traits. And then Stewart smacked down those so-called patriotic Americans who want to take their country back. Which was absolutely brilliant.

“You just want that person to give you your country back because you feel you’re this country’s rightful owners,” he argued, but “there’s only one problem with that: This country isn’t yours. You don’t own it. It never was. There is no real America. … You don’t own patriotism, you don’t own Christianity. You sure as hell don’t own respect for the bravery and sacrifice of military, police and firefighters. … I see you and I see your bulls—t.”
