Before his untimely death, Michael Jackson gave heartbreaking testimony about the brutal treatment he suffered as a child at the hands of his father, Joe. But now the Jackson-family patriarch wants to clear something up.
No, he doesn't deny what he did to his kids or express regret about it. Instead, he proclaims that there is "no such thing as beating." Hopefully, redefining terms makes him feel better, because it certainly didn't for Michael and doesn't for other children who are abused. We feel for him as we would for anyone who lost a child, but the unapologetic Piers Morgan Tonight interview is enough to make us want to beat — oops, sorry, we mean "punish" — the self-proclaimed "tough" 84-year-old.
