Just one day after Jimmie Allen was dropped from one of the two sexual assault lawsuits lobbed against him, fans of the country music star have learned yet another surprising detail about him.
According to posts on Allen’s personal Instagram on Tuesday, fans learned that the singer quietly welcomed twins with another woman amid his ongoing divorce from soon-to-be ex-wife Alexis Gale. The two announced their split back in April 2023.
The children, Aria and Amari, are nine-months-old which sets their birthdates four months before the birth of his latest child Cohen, with whom he shares with Gale. In a series of since-expired photos shared to his Instagram story, Allen posted pictures of all six of his children, showing them each individual love before writing in a final post: “I have 6 kids. I love each one of them. I refuse to let anyone make me feel ashamed of any of my children. The only opinion I care about is theirs.”
As previously mentioned, this news comes jusst 24 hours after he was dropped from one of the sexual assault lawsuits lobbed against him by his former manager. That development came nearly 10 months after the singer was accused of rape, sexual assault and harassment by the woman who claimed she’d been repeatedly sexually abused by him for 18 months. However, Allen claimed that the two shared a consensual relationship. But, on Monday, Allen and his accuser reached an agreement—though the same can’t be said for the managing company that hired the woman to be Allen’s manager.
“The decision reflects only that both parties desire to move past litigation. The plaintiff is continuing to pursue her claims against Williams Bowers Management d/b/a Wide Open Music, the Nashville music management firm that employed her as Allen’s day-to-day manager, for their role in the case, and one of its principals, Ash Bowers,” the accuser’s lawyer said in part in a statement. Allen has also dropped his counterclaim against the woman as well.
Additionally, back in May, Allen issued an apology to Gale for his affair writing in part in a post to Instagram at the time:
“I want to publicly apologize to my wife, Alexis, for humiliating her with my affair. I’m embarrassed that my choices have brought shame on her. That’s something she did not deserve at all. I also want to apologize to my children for being a poor example of a man and a father. I’m working on becoming a better person that my kids can be proud of. My goal is to be better than the generation before me.”
