Jeremy Meeks appears to be no angel. His mugshot went viral after it was posted on the Stockton, Calif., Police Department’s Facebook page when he was arrested in June on five weapons charges and one gang charge.

Apparently he’s no doll, either.

The 30-year-old, known as the “hot convict” among other descriptors for “fine,” reportedly threatened Thursday to file a lawsuit against the toy maker That’s My Face after the company announced plans to sell a Jeremy Meeks action figure, Mashable reports. The toy maker reportedly was poised to fetch about $109 for each 12-inch figure decked in orange prison garb, New York Magazine reports.

“Unfortunately, a representative from GR Media, who claims to represent Jeremy Meeks, did eventually get back to us and prefers that we do not publicize our one-off custom figure of Jeremy,” a That’s My Face representative told Mashable. “He demanded, under threat of legal action, that we remove the photos of the figure, which we have done.”

Perhaps the problem stemmed from the marketing of the product, New York Magazine suggests. The site initially posted images of the figure holding a machine-gun and the figure was portrayed behind bars. Good for Meeks for rejecting this caricature. The husband and father says he is in the midst of trying to rehabilitate his image.
