Janet Jackson is reportedly getting tests done to determine if she has throat cancer, Yahoo! reports.

Remember that Jackson recently postponed her Unbreakable World Tour and put out a statement in October saying that she had to rest her vocal cords. Then, in December, she posted this on Facebook: “I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon. It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring.”

According to Yahoo!, a source said that “doctors found a growth on Janet’s vocal cords that could be serious.”

“It’s a medical condition that has to be taken care of immediately," the source explained.

If this is true, here’s to hoping that it isn’t cancer and that Jackson is as healthy as can be.
