Jamie Foxx is still upset at the perpetrator who ruined his birthday dinner earlier this month and wants the person in question to be taken in cuffs.

According to TMZ, Foxx plans to press charges against the person who interrupted his celebratory dinner with family and friends, and is willing to cooperate with the police’s investigation to ensure that an incident like this never happens again.

While nobody has been named as a suspect, police have reportedly spoken to Jasper Dolphin, who was allegedly at the same restaurant during the night of the altercation.

Dolphin is an actor and entertainer who gained popularity as a member of the hip-hop collective Odd Future with other prominent artists like Tyler, the Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, and many others. He is also a “Jackass” stuntman and appeared in the 2022 film, “Jackass Forever.”

Even though police have been able to obtain security footage from the Beverley Hills restaurant, they have not shared what or who they have seen on it since they’re still investigating the matter, according to TMZ.

As previously reported by The Root, the altercation started when Foxx got annoyed with a guest who was in the upstairs VIP area of the restaurant after they pointed a laser at his table, projecting an image of male genitalia. This especially frustrated the actor because he was with his daughters and it also made them uncomfortable.

Reportedly, once Foxx saw the projected image, he said, “In front of my daughters?”

This is when the entertainer and some of his friends went upstairs to the VIP area, which was rented for a holiday party by Dickhouse Productions, the company behind “Jackass.”

Per the report from TMZ, when Foxx and his friends confronted the offending pirates, the situation “escalated,” leading to someone from the “Jackass” crew allegedly throwing a glass at the “Slow Jamz” singer, cutting him in the mouth.

Foxx reportedly responded angrily, saying, “It’s my birthday, what is wrong with you?”

Even after Foxx left to get medical attention, people in the VIP area continued to be aggressive with Foxx’s guests, leading to the restaurant calling the police.

Despite how the events have been reported, Bryan Freedman, an attorney for Dickhouse Productions has denied many of the claims, saying in a statement, “Although the crew has the greatest respect for Jamie, the version of events that has been presented is totally inaccurate and deeply unfair to those attending their holiday celebration that night.”
