Jaden Smith—Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith’s 17-year-old actor son—is on the cover of British GQ, and inside he tells the magazine that he doesn't see a difference between clothes that are made for men and those made for women.
“I don’t see man clothes and woman clothes,” Jaden said. This is nothing new, if you remember that he recently posed in a skirt in a Louis Vuitton womenswear campaign.
“I feel like people are kind of confused about gender norms. I feel like people don’t really get it. I’m not saying that I get it,” Jaden confessed. “I’m just saying that I’ve never seen any distinction. I don’t see man clothes and woman clothes; I just see scared people and comfortable people.”
Is he Will and Jada’s son or what? All that free thinking.
The esoteric teen also talked about his plans to fix the “whole planet Earth.” It’s very Kanye-ish:
“I’m really working towards just fixing the whole planet Earth. I really just want to create a utopia on this planet. I really want to make it so that people don’t have to die to pay bills and just work to survive,” he said. “So that they can work to actually live and do the things that they love to do.”
