While Remy Ma was dropping diss track after diss track, Nicki Minaj was not only traipsing through Paris Fashion Week but also enlisting the help of her homeboys Drake and Lil Wayne to craft not one, but three, responses to Remy Ma’s “shETHER.”
Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne appear on “No Frauds,” and Nicki’s flying solo on “Regret in Your Tears,” while “Changed It” features Lil Wayne.
Remy’s been on a publicity spree over the last couple of weeks explaining her beef with Nicki, and Nicki’s verse on “No Frauds” is definitely a direct response to Remy:
Tried to drop “Another One,” you was itchin’ to scrap
You exposed your ghostwriter, now you wish you were scrapped
Heard your pussy on “Yuck,” I guess you needed a Pap
What type of bum bitch shoot a friend over a rack?
What type of mother leave her one son over a stack?
Lil Boogie down basic bitch thinkin’ she back
Back to back, oh you mean, back to wack?
“Back to Back”? Me and Drizzy laughed at that
They say numbers don’t matter
But when they discussing the kings
They turn around and say LeBron ain’t got six rings
I never signed a 360, bitch you wild dumb
That’s why Jay ain’t clear his verse for your album
Sheneneh, you a fraud committin’ perjury
I got before and after pictures of your surgery
Rah took you to her doc, but you don’t look like Rah
Left the operating table, still look like “nah”
Ouch. Trash.
Of course, Nicki’s fans are going crazy over the songs on social media:
Currently, all three songs are on Apple Music, Tidal and Spotify.
Honestly, there’s a huge difference (at least to me) when it comes to Nicki’s vs. Remy Ma’s diss tracks. Remy had everyone shook when she dropped “shETHER.” Right now, Nicki only has her fans shook.
Also, Nicki enlisted the help of her band of merry men. She didn’t come alone, which says a lot. That’s like being in a fistfight with a woman but bringing along your brothers for help. Not that I’ve ever been in a fistfight with a woman, but in eighth grade, I did knock out a boy with one right hook on my own.
I imagine this is Remy Ma this morning:
