Islamic extremists reportedly rejoiced after learning of Donald Trump's stunning presidential victory and are hoping that the president-elect's "reckless actions" will "lead to a civil war," USA Today reports.
"Rejoice with support from Allah, and find glad tidings in the imminent demise of America at the hands of Trump,” the al-Minbar Jihadi Media network, which is affiliated with the Islamic State group, said, according to the U.S.-based SITE Intelligence Group, USA Today reports. "Trump’s win of the American presidency will bring hostility of Muslims against America as a result of his reckless actions, which show the overt and hidden hatred against them."
Trump has been adamant that if elected, he will give generals 30 days to create a plan to defeat the Islamic State, also referred to as ISIS or ISIL. Last year, during his campaign, Trump was quoted as saying that, if elected, he planned to "bomb the s—t out of them," USA Today reports. The Islamic State and other jihadists reportedly hope that a Trump win will eventually bankrupt the U.S. economy.
