We all know Trevor Noah for being an entertaining comedian who does a solid job hosting some of the biggest award shows out there. But did you know that he also seems to have a love for real estate?
Even though he’s from South Africa, Noah has bought and sold some extremely pricey homes across the United States in the last couple of years.
In September 2023, he sold his Hell’s Kitchen penthouse for $9.5 million after buying the property in 2017 for $10.18 million. The place was nice, coming with its own private plunge pool.
In March 2022, he sold his mansion in Bel-Air, Los Angeles for $26.9 million after buying the home in 2020 for $27.5 million. The 11,300 square-foot estate had nine bathrooms, six bedrooms, an infinity pool and a gated motor court.
Although the homes weren’t as valuable when he sold them, it’s clear that he’s not afraid to take chances.
Now he’s on the lookout for a new place in New York City.
According to the New York Post, Noah recently toured a place in Lower Manhattan that’s on sale for $7.4 million. The property is in the West Village neighborhood and is located in a building called The Shepherd. The residence has everything you need if you plan on living large in the Big Apple.
People who live in the luxurious building have access to several amenities including an art room, a library, an arcade room, a gym, a basketball court and a courtyard garden.
The home Noah is eyeing resides on the 10th floor of the Manhattan building and includes views of Hudson Yards, the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty.
The huge 2,200-square-foot unit has a bedroom suite and an enormous chef’s kitchen (among other things).
