On Wednesday, Master P had some harsh words for Kobe Bryant after the Los Angeles Lakers player left an exhibition game early to visit Lamar Odom in a Las Vegas hospital. Bryant visited Odom after he was admitted to the hospital after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. That small gesture of kindness displayed by Bryant didn’t sit too well with Master P, Odom’s longtime friend.
In an interview with TMZ, Master P criticized Bryant and referred to Bryant as a phony who didn’t help Odom in his time of need.
“So many phony and fake people out here now,” the rapper told TMZ. “I’m talking about Kobe [Bryant], all his men with whom he plays basketball. If Kobe was [Odom's] friend … Kobe, like, owns the team. He could’ve got the man back on the team … that’s all he wanted.”
Master P’s reaction didn’t sit too well with many people. Some wondered why he didn’t help his so-called friend. And why did it bother him that Bryant went to be by his former teammate’s side?
Not one to back down from trash-talking, Bryant seems to have sent out a tweet regarding Master P’s comments, and he took the high road.

And you definitely can’t argue with that.
