Rumor has it that former President George H.W. Bush will be voting for Hillary Clinton when ballots are cast at the polls this November.

CNN reports that sources say this is not the first time the 41st president has said that he will vote for Clinton.

Bush, a Republican, who lost as the incumbent in 1992 to Bill Clinton, was at a board meeting for the bipartisan Points of Light Foundation on Monday at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine.

Also in attendance was Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy and former lieutenant governor of Maryland. Kennedy Townsend, a Democrat, sits on the advisory board of the Points of Light Foundation, and it was in the receiving line for board members where Bush 41 reportedly made the comments.

According to CNN, there were about 40 other people in attendance, and it is unclear exactly how many heard him say it, but there are multiple sources who say that he did.

Kennedy Townsend, who goes by “Hartington” online, posted a photo of herself with the former president on Facebook with the caption, "The President told me he's voting for Hillary!!"

Bush family representatives have declined to comment, and Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement: “The vote President Bush will cast as a private citizen in some 50 days will be just that: a private vote cast in some 50 days. He is not commenting on the presidential race in the interim.”

Kennedy Townsend has since removed the post from Facebook, but this is the internet, where screenshots are forever.

Although the Bush family won’t come out and publicly say whom they are voting for, it’s worth noting that neither George H.W. Bush nor George W. Bush was in attendance at the Republican National Convention when Donald Trump was given the nomination.
