Iran's supreme leader allegedly tweeted a graphic Saturday that appears to show President Barack Obama holding a gun to his head, reports USA Today. The image surfaced just three days after the United States and other world powers reached a historic agreement with the country to limit Tehran's nuclear program in return for lifting economic sanctions that have hobbled Iran's economy.
"US president has said he could knock out Iran’s military. We welcome no war, nor do we initiate any war, but.." reads the caption above the tweet sent by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei from @khamenei_ir, his English-language account.

USA Today notes that while Khamenei's account has not been verified by Twitter, it is widely believed to be the supreme leader's, based on its content, which often rants against the United States and Israel. So far there have been no claims that the account was hacked. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani tweets from @HassanRouhani, which is also unverified.
