A Washington D.C. man is going viral on the internet for using a walker on his bike to deliver food to customers. Kevin Ross, 44, is being called “The Hardest Working Guy Ever,” but the fact that he has to even do this to make money is downright heartbreaking for some.
Ross was spotted by fellow delivery biker Joshua Taylor Cavallero, who boasts one million followers on Instagram. Cavallero filmed Ross still making food deliveries with a broken foot after he was hit by a car.
The post has garnered over 300,000 likes on social media and has been viewed over five million times. Cavallero captioned the post with:
“This guy is the definition of never giving up… I couldn’t believe that he was doing this. But when he said he has bills to pay that really hit hard. $KevinLross21 is his cash app if anyone wants to send him something to help out. I couldn’t imagine having to ride my bike with a broken foot like this...let’s help homie out...I love how humble this guy was. He was talking about doing this like it was no big deal too...Kevin was also sold a bike that had the front forks put on backward so hopefully when he goes and gets his rack they also switch that around!! I never got Kevin’s @ but i hope he finds his way into this comment section”
In the exchange on camera, Cavallero walks out of a local restaurant where he sees Ross with a broken foot. Ross holds a walker as he locked up his bike. the pair have a conversation about why Ross is riding with a broken foot.
Ross’ response was all too relatable, “I got bills to pay.”
Cavallero documents his adventures around the city on his account, @bikingdc, which includes photos and videos from customers all around D.C. Thousands of dollars have been donated to Ross through CashApp, but hopefully he won’t have to deliver like this much longer.
