Looking to get in the spirit of Black History Month? Target assembled a team of designers, merchandisers, engineers, sourcing specialists, store team members, and more to celebrate the season of Black Excellence with an assortment of custom and curated offerings across departments.

“This assortment is a celebration of African American heritage and heroes, both historical and contemporary—from books by visionary authors to special tees to music by groundbreaking artists,” Tawnya Artisst, product design & development director and member of Target’s African American Business Council (AABC), said in a statement.

And what’s more? The popular big box retailer is once again partnering with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), continuing the financial and volunteer support they’ve given the legacy organization over many years. This season, Target will donate $100,000 to UNCF, and will also help fund their Martin Luther King, Jr. breakfast to celebrate the organization’s 75th birthday this year. Said Dr. Michael Lomax, UNCF President and CEO:

UNCF and Target have worked together for decades, including on UNCF’s “An Evening of Stars” and “Empower Me Tour,” to invest in the minds and futures of students of color as they matriculate to and through post-secondary education, most notably at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Our organizations have a shared goal of impacting local communities across the country. Our partnership has touched the lives of high school and college students and their parents through scholarships and programs that have opened the doors of opportunity for educational and professional advancement for communities that otherwise might be overlooked and underserved.
