Are you young, fabulous, female and in the Philadelphia area? Then come on out to join The Root at our event on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
YFF: Philadelphia will be held at the African American Museum in Philadelphia from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It will be a fabulous girls' night out of networking, intriguing panel discussion and, last but not least, cocktails. The event's theme is "Elevate the Game," and it will be your chance to step up and show out as you connect with powerful and motivating female entrepreneurs in business and entertainment.
Our incredible panel will include Keesha Boyd, executive director of multicultural consumer services at Comcast; Rakia Reynolds, president of Skai Blue Media and a contributor to Forbes; author Erica Armstrong Dunbar, a professor of black-American studies and history at the University of Delaware; Cappuchino, midday host at Power 99 Philadelphia/iHeart Radio; and Danielle C. Belton, managing editor of The Root.
This wonderful panel will be moderated by Brooke Thomas, anchor of Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon for CBS 3 Philadelphia.
