Well, it certainly looks as if the same rotten tree produced the same rotten fruit. And as it turns out, while some students were marching for their lives on National Walkout Day to protest gun violence, Morgan Roof, the sister of white supremacist and mass murderer Dylann Roof, was on social media expressing her disgust.

The student body at Morgan Roof’s Richland County, S.C., high school was alarmed by her social media post to Snapchat, in which Roof expressed that she hoped students protesting would “get shot,” The State reports.

“Your walking out for the allowed time of 17min, they are letting you do this, nothing is gonna change what tf you think it’s gonna do? I hope it’s a trap and y’all get shot we know it’s fixing to be nothing but black people walkin out anyway. No offense ofc buuut,” she wrote.

Her comments, coupled with her focus on “nothing but black people” walking out, struck some serious nerves, especially given that her brother murdered nine black parishioners at a historic black church in hopes of starting a race war.

To top it all off, this delightful ray of sunshine was also arrested and charged Wednesday with drug and weapons possession on school grounds. The State notes that she was charged with simple possession of marijuana and two counts of carrying weapons on school grounds.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department confirmed that a school administrator contacted a school resource officer about Morgan Roof’s possession of marijuana, pepper spray and a knife. No students were harmed as a result, but Roof was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

According to WLTX, Morgan Roof was given a $5,000 bond and is not allowed to return to the school.
